Spells That Go Wrong!

"Mischief?" I cried out.

"Up here!" Mischief said as he was hanging from the apple tree.

"You have alot of explaining to do." I said with big questioning eyes.

"You Margaret are a....We'll it's not at all surprising that magic runs in the family. For instance look at your last name, Merlin. Merlin after the great Wizard himself. And of course your father, the famous Magician. Your Mothers water broke on Easter Island, and so on and so forth. So it's only natural that you posses magical talent, too." Mischief said matter of fact.

"Me? But how? My Dad does magic but it's not real magic. They're illusions." I chimed.

"That's true. The magic jean skips every two generations. Which means your turn, if you will do the math." Mischief said.
"Are you saying----I'm a- I'm a--- witch." I said rather upset.

"Witch, warlock, wizardess, page, magician, sorcerer whatever you call it these days. It all adds up to you have the gift!"

"Oh, I think I'm going to faint......" I plopped on the ground. I woke up when I felt a wet tongue licking me. "Where am I?" I turned as starred at my cat.

"Your in your backyard." Mischief responded.

"Oh, for a second there. I thought everything would be back to normal." I said.

"Margaret, that's what I've been trying to tell you. It is normal for you
to use magic. Except you need a little guidance because clearly you don't know what your doing." Mischief said as he pointed to my purple horse in pink tutu.

"Ummmm, can you tell me how to fix him back? Mr. Cat." I asked.

"It's Lutemius Preximus. But, I've become rather used to the name Mischief. So, take your pick."
