Chapter 3
I ran quickly towards the grove. I didn't want my friends to see me. I found White Shadow chewing on a ripe apple. Slight problem, the apple was the size of a chair! "Oh!" I wailed with shock as my black horse was purple and wearing a pink tutu! "What in the jimmy crickets is going on?" I cried out in terror.
Mischief my cat was at my feet purring. Prrrrrrrrrr. "I tried to tell you earlier," he said calm as a clam.
"Ahhhh. Your still talking." I said with shock.
"At this point, me talking is the least of your problems you have to worry about!" Mischief said.
"Alright if you know something, I think this would be a good time to share."
I pleaded hysterically.
"You made a spell to grow fruit. Clearly by the look of things or in this case the size of thing, your spell didn't go very well. And any second ... your friends at your party are about to get squashed like little bugs. This will be very disastrous if you don't do something quick. Remember the journal you got today? It had your first lesson in it." Mischief explained to me like a school teacher.
"Let me get this straight. You’re saying I did this! Me?" I asked puzzled.
"The journal is your guide. You had instructions to learn levitation today. However, you cast a spell instead. Obviously, you did the spell backwards, to say the least." Mischief said in a huffy tone and then pointed his paw to a boulder sized orange rolling right towards us.
"Ut oh," I squealed. "This is bad, very bad. Run," I cried as I started to bolt away from this dangerous citrus.
